Tank teaser

The gas tank is not installed correctlly yet, I just installed it temporary to see how it looks.

I'm still waiting for the clutch needle bearing, untill I get that I can't install the primary cover, the left hand floor board and the rear brake rods.

The wireing is done and the ignition key is installed

To be able to see the oil level I made a gage glass on the righthand side of the oil tank

Today I started the makeing the wireing at the Ironhead. I really love the beautiful collors of the fabric covered wires !

Baby boom

Yesterday I had a visit from my sisters and their children.

Wrench, wrench, wrench

Except from the clutch, the bike is getting closer to the result.. I have to chance a needle bearing in the clutch before assembly.

Practical use

To avoid wather in the fork, I fabricated two aluminum blind caps for the fork legs.

The horn is 6volt AC bacause I inastalled an 6volt altinator, a "generator" without brushes. To hide the horn I installed it underneath the gastank.

Except from the color and the nice finish, all these previous and upcoming posts for the assembly seems to be déjà vu : ) I hope you will enjoy to see the progress anyway - because I am really satisfied with the result so far !

Engine

The engine can be very tricky to install, but everything went smooth, without any scratches, and no major troubles.

Come together

Everything comes together one by one.
The wheels are really beautiful in black instead of the chrome/ rusty look : )
