Engine covers

I have been searching for a lot inspiration, by looking at one billion pictures of old bikes.

One thing I really like is that some of the old sportster trackers, both K and XL models got some nice cutouts at the engine covers - the kickstart/ sprocket cover and the cam cover.

I will try to make somthing like that myself.


Inspiration:

I think it suits the engine very well, istead of the original shape witch is very big.


This is my engine covers so far, I'm not totally sure that I'm done with the cutting and drilling, but I think so.

When I'm done it's going to be glass or plast blasted.
