Black or dark makes the bike heavy and compact, and looks smaller. Yellow or lighter colour, green or even purple makes the flowing lines of the frame open up a bit and in my opinion gets the look of a bike more ready to race, on the prowl...looking for victims... One of the reasons for the popularity of the Scout is its well composed design and elegant style, highligted by the visible frame. Light and essential down to the bare bones, it would be a shame to hide it behind a blanket of black.
You are absolutely right Charlie101, but now it's not a Scout anymore, it's a 100% custom bike, for that reason I really don't think it needs a visible frame, to be a visible bike :) Thank you for sharing your point of view.

Først troede jeg, det er en indisk, det skal være rød. Jeg er ikke overbevist om sort er vejen at gå. Tilgiv mig, hvis oversættelsen er dårlig.

I really think the black is the best idea, but it's nice to know your opinion :)
